Sunflower fatty acids are a by-product of sunflower seed processing in the manufacture of refined sunflower oil. They are a complex mixture of organic acids, including linoleic, oleic and other acids that are part of the natural composition of sunflower oil. Fatty acids are industrial goods used for further processing in the production of feed supplements for livestock.

Sunflower fatty acids are an essential component widely used in feed supplements. We supply both GMP+ certified and technical fatty acids.

In industry they are used as an ingredient in formulations. Fatty acids obtained from oil and hydrogenated-fat soapstock are used directly in soap making and for the production of glycerin and stearin.
